 | David Johnson has for many years signed his work “Wolff”, which is a family name. He has had a life long interest in art. Over the years, David experimented with faux finishes, doing several rooms for himself and friends. In 2002 David decided to pursue a career in decorative painting and founded Art by Wolff. After attending two Atlanta based schools, David embarked upon a comprehensive study of faux and decorative techniques and materials.
David is also trained and certified by Safra of Italy in the ancient Italian plaster techniques. His portfolio contains over fifty finishes, from subtle washes and veiled effects to dramatic multi-layered dimensional plasters. His passion and dedication to the art of faux and plaster application drive David to continually study and develop new and exciting finishes.
